The Pulsarlube V is a single-point automatic lubricator that dispenses grease consistently over a selected period of time using an electrochemical nitrogen gas system. It features an LCD display that makes settings easy to check and adjust.
The Pulsarlube V is a microprocessor-controlled electrochemical lubricator that utilises inert nitrogen gas to deliver grease gradually to a single lubrication point.
It features programmable dispensing periods, an LCD display, and a transparent reservoir for easy monitoring. Available in both disposable 125 ml and 250 ml models, its intrinsic-safety certifications and IP68 enclosure support usage in appropriately classified hazardous and demanding industrial environments.
Consistent automatic grease delivery contributes to the reduction of reliance on manual lubrication, Pulsarlube V supports appropriate lubrication intervals and minimises routine maintenance visits to difficult or hazardous locations. The following are the key practical benefits.
Microprocessor-Controlled Operation
An integrated microprocessor manages the lubricator’s operating cycle to support accurate lubricant dispensing.
Nitrogen-Gas Generation System
The unit generates inert nitrogen gas through an electrochemical reaction. This technology provides more stable performance across changes in ambient temperature than hydrogen-gas-type lubricators.
Selectable Dispensing Periods
Users can select a dispensing period of 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 months to suit the grease requirement of the individual lubrication point.
Large LCD Display
The built-in LCD provides clear information about the selected operating period, purge function and lubrication-cycle status.
Easy Reprogramming
The dispensing period can be changed using the MODE button, allowing the unit to be adjusted when the application’s lubrication requirements change.
Transparent Lubricant Reservoir
The transparent housing allows maintenance personnel to inspect the movement of the piston and the approximate amount of lubricant remaining.
Purge Function
A dedicated purge mode dispenses a larger quantity of grease over a short period. It is intended for specific setup or checking requirements and is not recommended as the normal operating mode for typical applications.
Intrinsically Safe Certifications
Pulsarlube V carries ATEX, UL, IECEx, KCs, CE and MSHA certifications. This enables its use in applicable hazardous locations containing flammable liquids, vapours, gases or dust, provided the installation complies with the relevant certification and site requirements.
IP68 Ingress Protection
The enclosure offers a high level of protection against dust and water ingress, supporting use in demanding industrial environments.
Direct or Short Remote Installation
Direct mounting is recommended. Where direct installation is impractical, the unit may be remotely installed using the appropriate accessories and a prefilled 8 mm outside-diameter grease tube not exceeding 1 metre.
Developed for grease-fed single lubrication points, Pulsarlube V can be applied to suitable bearings on motors, pumps, blowers, fans, conveyors, and other industrial rotating equipment. Below are the typical lubrication point in different range of equipment.
Typical points include drive-end and non-drive-end motor bearings where each bearing has an individual grease inlet and a controlled, relatively low grease requirement.
The lubricator can be applied to grease-lubricated pump bearing housings, provided the lubrication passage is clear and the required delivery pressure is within the unit’s operating capability.
Typical applications include grease-lubricated shaft bearings on blowers and fans used in process plants, ventilation systems and production facilities.
The unit may be used on suitable single bearing points associated with conveyor drives, pulleys or rollers where automatic grease delivery is required and installation conditions fall within the product’s limitations.
Pulsarlube V may also be considered for accessible or difficult-to-reach grease points on suitable production and processing equipment, provided each lubricator serves only one lubrication point.
